Admissions to the Nursery class take place three times a year (September, January and April), and pupils can be admitted the term after they reach the age of 3. We hold regular Open Days where you and your child can visit on an informal basis, and take the opportunity to discuss Nursery life with the staff. If you wish to register your child for a place in our Nursery, you can do so by completing this form and returning it to the school office:
We warmly welcome visits to the school and look forward to showing you how we work at Long Furlong. If you’d like a tour of the school, please contact us via the school office to book an appointment with our Headteacher who will be happy to answer any questions you might have.
The formal process for admissions to the school from Reception through to Year 6 are managed by the Local Authority’s Admissions team. For more information please visit the Oxfordshire County Council website
Children at Long Furlong transfer to a wide range of secondary schools in both the public and private sectors; links to their websites are under the “Links” tab at the top of this page. The County Council oversees admissions to the state secondary schools. You will receive information and invitations to visit local secondary schools in the autumn of the year before your child is due to transfer.
