Headteacher’s Welcome

On behalf of the school community, it is my absolute pleasure to welcome you to the website of Long Furlong Primary School. I am proud and privileged to be the Headteacher of this exciting, dynamic and well-respected school.

Long Furlong is a one-form entry primary school with a nursery. The school opened in 1993 and continues to be a place where learning, nurture, aspiration and a sense of family and community are as important as they were over 31 years ago.

Our children are at the heart of everything we do. We provide a safe, nurturing and purposeful learning environment for our children to flourish and move on to their next step in education. We aim to develop a culture of inclusion and diversity in which all those connected to our school feel proud of their identity and able to participate fully in school life. As a school we make special efforts to ensure that all groups prosper and achieve their full potential.

As the Headteacher, I am fortunate to work with an extremely talented and dedicated team of staff who are driven to provide the very best for the children. I am ably supported by the Governing body, who work tirelessly in support of the school.
